Membership of the West Indian Social Club is open to men and
women of West Indian heritage. Descendants and spouses of
West Indians who are members of the West Indian Social Club
can also apply for membership to the organization.
There are three categories of membership for the West
Indian Social Club:
- Honorary Membership
- Life Membership
- Affiliated Membership
Honorary Membership – Shall be open to any official
serving in a high-ranking capacity in the Government or
Corporate Sector. Honorary membership must be recommended by
the Executive Board and ratified by the membership. Honorary
members cannot hold office or vote. Honorary members pay no
dues, but must pay membership fees to all organizational
activities and functions when there are such fees attached.
Life Membership – Any individual satisfying the
requirements of the organization, which includes dues of
$100.00 and non refundable application fee of $25.00 mandated by the board and approved by
membership. Members who achieve 30 years of continuous
active membership shall be granted life membership. Members
holding life membership can vote, hold office and have all
rights to full membership, however no further dues are
required.
Affiliated Membership – Open to persons who are of
non-West Indian Heritage and persons not meeting
qualifications as outlined by the organization.
